If you would like to become a member at The Gate heres how you can do it!
1.You could ring our club secretary Gill Rich..you can find her number in the dudley,warwick and worcester,oldbury or smethwick handbooks.
2.You could ring Rob Smith on 0121 445 1517.
3.You could pop down The Gate on a saturday afternoon,sunday morning or a wednesday night and see a member.If no-one is there go into the pub and ask for the gaffer and leave you details with him.
If you like the look of us then we will give you a form which you can fill in. Memberships are £10 under 16's,£15 over 60's and £25 adults.
We are a club which are on the up.We have gained 2 new bowlers this season which wil improve us and our team will have more competition for places.It does'nt matter if your a novice or an experienced one anyone is welcome.We don't just come to play bowls we have a load of fun and banter round the green and a few pints after the match.
We are located in Rood End,Oldbury,Vernon rd! We play in:
Warwick and Worcester Division 3 on Saturdays
Smethwick Division 2 on Sundays
Oldbury Division 1 Wednesdays
Ladies division 2 on Tuesdays
Oldbury over 60's on Monday
Oldbury Division 3
So as you can see in most of our leagues we play high standard SO PLEASE IF YOUR INTERESTED GET IN TOUCH WITH EITHER GILL RICH OR ROB SMITH ABOUT A FORM AND COME AND JOIN ....ANYBODY WANTING TO PLAY BOWLS AND HAVE A BIT OF FUN IS WELCOME.
